Like Switzerland, in a way

Officer chat, last night:

Death Knight Officer: Thrace, you're like the Switzerland of WoW.
Me: XD I am?
Everyone else: ...Huh?
Death Knight Officer: You are!

I, of course, had to ask because this wasn't the first time I have been likened to Switzerland. In college people remarked that I was usually on the outside of any altercation. Or situation. For all that I may be a third party in the real world, online-- and particularly in WoW-- I always thought of myself as a particularly bellicose individual. All those times I stomped on people and left a whimpering silence in various chat channels spring to mind, followed right along with the many arguments I had with a especially mule-headed person. I am the least neutral person in the world!

Me: ...What brought this about?
Death Knight Officer: I was talking to [my husband] and you get along with everyone. He said "Yeah, Thrace is the Switzerland of WoW."
Me: Oh whoa, and here I thought it was really obvious when I hated someone.
Death Knight Officer: Pfft, we all hate them. And it isn't like Switzerland likes North Korea or anything.

...Oh. Right. Huh. I am endlessly surprised to realize that my people skills are better than I thought they were. Then again I usually think of my social skills as being marginally better than those of a ferret's.
