damselfish | (no subject)

I had a nightmare about black worms burrowing into pillows. They were maybe fourteen inches long and thick as my thumb, and though they were just dumb worms they had a sinister air to them. I don't know why they kept trying to burrow into my bed pillow and why my dream self thought they would proceed to... burrow into my face or something. I definitely had the feeling the pillow burrowing was just a preliminary phase, like in any good horror movie where the monster does something strange and lays low before hitting you up with a surprise. When I woke up I had a nasty case of the heebie jeebies.
