OMG PRINCESS LUNA ON MLP.

The wait was so worth it.

After last week's episode I was a little worried the show had lost its luster-- I know a lot of other people liked it, but it felt really off to me-- so when I saw the spoiler stuff posted to facebook I was excited but tentatively so, because Luna has been a fan favorite and I was worried what might come of bringing her back. I mean, I wanted her because the first episode is all about returning Princess Luna and then she doesn't show up ever again, which is just weird given that she's a princess who apparently flakes out of official functions. Fandom has her as a total emo-ragdoll, which is cute but not quite what I want to see.

So having her be awesome and angry (and enviously sarcastic, so jealous of the writers right now) instead of a wibbly ragdoll was fun. And I'll chalk up ep 3 as an aberration, it's not like season 1 didn't have any of those (cough).
