Dec. 11th, 2011 09:39 amBetween people on Lowes's facebook page praising Lowes for caving to a terrorist organization's demands they pull advertising from All-American Muslim (the Florida Family Association, hoping they'll be the ones to bring an oppressive theocracy to your fair country!) and sundry bigots crying oppression, I have had it with the world today, and it isn't even 10 AM yet.
Now that I've written a "Lowes, I am disappoint and I am never shopping at you ever" letter, I'm gonna try to study. But it does light a fire under my butt to remind me why I went into law in the first place. Because, deep down, I am one of those idealistic people who wants to change the world, who knows that groups like the FFA need to be fought tooth and nail before their attitudes can fatally poison this country. Which is, pretty much, what they want to do-- make it into some post-apocalyptic horror movie. Sharia law? They fantasize about it in their dreams. Only they call it "dominionism."
