I know that editing is the hardest part of writing, and that all writers trip over the details or process, that getting the kernel of "I have this idea what about these dumb kids saving the world" into an actually formed journey is the hard part, but seriously.
Damn the details.
I want a machine that I can tell my plot to and it'll spit back the solution. Like book math. Solve for X where X equals "how do I get to the finale from these dummies farting around on an island."
Like an editor, but a pre-editor. Before the editing starts.
