I require the advice of someone with indoor plant savvy. I asked my mother for a vase for Christmas to put hibiscus cuttings, and instead she got me this betta bowl. It's not really good for hibiscus flowers, and I'm not a big fan of cut flowers in general, so... I'm at a loss of what to use it for.

Mom said I could put an orchid in it, but as it has no drainage holes, an orchid would drown. Googling for hydroculture doesn't seem to be getting me very much either, and most of the plants I'm liking are too big (peace lily, etc).

I can't put a betta in it since it's too small for a betta and it doesn't have any filtration anyway.

Anyone got any tips for what I can put in there? Pretty much the only idea I have is lucky bamboo, and, uhm, no.

I think duck weed is adorable, and you could have pretty pebbles on the bottom.
