Aaaaaagh omg holy cow!
That story I sent off a week or so ago?
It's gonna be in an anthology!
That is totally crazy and blowing my mind because I only submitted on a whim with lots of nudging from a friend, fully expecting it to be rejected because rejections are the lot in life of any writer. I'm pretty shy about submitting things. And now the thing I sent in is getting published!?
