(no subject)

Bar prep has pretty much annihilated my ability/will to write, so I promised myself that I wouldn't require the "write 1,000 words a day or edit" that I usually do, but that I could write if I got a pang for something really good that was actually do-able and not just my usual "I wanna write! I have no real goal, I just wanna!"

I've been having pangs for a story I wrote a while ago that needed to be reworked. I'm not sure if the protagonists should find each other after a long absence, or if it should be a fresh meeting story. All I really want is a steamy make-out scene and some cute banter between the ship's crew, but I still can't figure out how to hinge a story on that.

I've written several make-out scenes, though.

Maybe that's all the story will be. Shapeshifters kissing religious authorities in space.
