My angelfish pair spawned for the third time, and I was ready for this rodeo. They've eaten their eggs twice around day 3 despite being attentive parents prior to that point. Since I'm dying to see what the babies of such pretty parents would look like, I decided to raise the fry artificially.

This time, I convinced them to spawn on a slate instead of the filter tube (it was not easy), which I took out and put in an empty 2.5 gallon.

They BIT me! They were guarding the eggs and charged my arm, but hey, they've lost parenting privileges, so I had to get those eggs outta there.

And they bit me.

Those're some fearless fish, y'all.

...And possibly the only pet I've had where I find being bitten kind of endearing.

So my car needs $5,000 in repairs. I am told that this is too much money for a 10-year-old car, and I must get a new one. I love my car, so this is with great sadness. Even greater sadness when I start looking at cars and realize they are all ugly or simply tragically dull.

ME: Soooo I need a new car and the only good cars are convertibles, all others are unsatisfactory! But grandpa doesn't want me to have one.

CRYSI: He's probably afraid that you'll ride through the glen with the wind in your hair, firing arrows into the sunset.
