Kittens. Moar of them!

People have been talking to me about getting a cat. "I just can't imagine you without an animal" they say. I love cats, but no, I just... I can't! I can't handle the things animals do. The knocking things down and the biting my books (we have four cats that do this, it has to be something in the water) and the clawing my furniture (and I wanted a leather couch!) and the knocking things down and the leaving hair on everything-- did I mention I have a lot of things and I'm really rabid about them remaining where I've placed them?

Today my mother and the fire department fished a tiny kitten out of the engine block of a minivan at a Macdonald's. My mother's words were "she's tiny and gray and are you interested!?" She has, hands down, the sweetest face I have seen on a gray tabby. Ever. In the history of creation.

They named her Mac. I think she needs to be named after someone from the Odyssey, since she was found in one.

Send help. I do not need a cat.
