I'm in Heiresses of Russ!

Soooo since the reviews are out, I think I can mention this: "Amphitrite" got picked up for Heiresses of Russ! It's a collection of "the year's best lesbian speculative fiction" that comes out this October. I saw the TOC when I was asked to do a final read, and once again felt a little out of my league and I dearly hoped no one would notice.

Check out Future Fire's review here, most pertinently where they said: "S.L. Knapp’s ‘Amphitrite’ is a steampunk adventure with stolen submarines and mermaids, sexy and feisty and rebellious all at once."

Also Publisher's Weekly called me a promising newcomer.

Now brb, need to bottle up this feeling because it might be the only thing that gets me through editing.

Congratulations! I loved that story, it's one of the ones I always mention when I'm talking about Steam-Powered II.
