Lambda Literary just posted the Lammy nominees, and Heiresses of Russ 2012 is up for the SF/fantasy/horror award! That's the collection with my short "Amphitrite" in it.

For those who don't know Amphitrite... well I think this review from Tor.com sums it up better than even I could: "“Amphitrite” by S. L. Knapp, where there are mermaids, submersibles, and a sweet ending that involves crashing a bunch of asshole guys into the ocean floor while our heroines escape capture."

Actually the whole list looks really good this year, if you wanted some recommendations of LGBT fic to read.

ETA: foxfirefey also tells me that Heiresses of Russ 2011 (edited post to clarify that!) is up on Smashwords for $1.75 as a DRM-free ebook.

Oh man so apparently this anthology is currently 75% off as a DRM-free ebook on Smashwords until March 9th! MAYBE LET PEOPLE KNOW THAT? That is $1.75!

It's a good collection but also last year's. I'm in Heiresses of Russ 2012.

But for $1.75 GO FOR IT.
